While all the engine building was going on, we cleaned up all the dings and scrapes on the exterior, and welded in the sunroof. This involved cutting and welding in sheetmetal filler strips about 3/8" wide to fill the gap between the steel sunroof panel and the roof, where the seal used to be. Here's the prepped car going off to MAACO for a coat of paint.
And a week later it was back with a new Silver Polyurethane paint job...
